I saw this in an article earlier: The ARRL are providing the e-book version of their ARRL Antenna Book (25th edition) for nowt! All you need is to register an an account on the ARRL site, which is free to do and isn't restricted to US callsign holders.
It's a fairly hefty download at over 1Gig.

Just to let you know that GB3ED, Edinburgh's UHF FM repeater is back on air after refurbishment.
In order to minimise interference to and from other nearby repeaters (=cheaper filters!) the frequency has changed. It is now on:
430.8875 +7.6 MHz shift CTCSS 94.8 Hz
The coverage seems very good. I have heard it from Dundee and from the M73 outside Glasgow.
The repeater is also DSTAR enabled, defaulting to DCS604M, which is the scottish multimode reflector (23551 on DMR).
Please give it a go, so I can justify the effort put into getting it going properly. It has been underused and I am keen to see it being a busy(ish) community repeater.
