CPSARC AUGUST CLUB NIGHT – 7th August 2020 19:00 till closing

At this instant in time – Monday 20th July as I write this, we will be able to have our normal club night on the 7th August in the Thorntree Inn (Lounge Bar), High Street, Port Seton starting at 19:00. The Pub is now open for business and I have also been in touch with the landlady, Susan. Although due to the virus there are certain conditions that must be met, see below.

  • On arrival your temperature will be taken as a check
  • Hand sanitiser to clean your hands when you go in.
  • Complete the COVID sheet by adding your details – Name, contact details and time of arrival
  • No masks required in the pub (will take mines anyway just in case)
  • Only 1 at the bar at any one time
  • 1M distancing.

I know some of the above are a “pain”, but it is a sign of the times and we need to stay safe and secure.

Really looking forward to getting back to some normality and catching up with you all after such a long time. Hope you all try to come along.

If there are any changes to the above, I will send out an email plus post it on the CPSARC Facebook page.

** LATEST UPDATE 16/5/2020** Coronavirus (COVID-19) & Club Events Cancelled Status

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Everyone must stay at home to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
You should only leave the house for 1 of 4 reasons:
1) shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible
2) one form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle – alone or with members of your household
3) any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
4) travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home
This affects some of our club events where some are cancelled, and others will depend on what happens regarding the lockdown whether it is kept for a long period or lifted. Things are changing day to day, so we need to keep up with what is the latest actions. Any updates on Club Events will be posted on the Website and on Facebook CPSARC
