ModeratorLighthouse weekend is out of the way and after discussions with a few guys it is clear that an amount of prior planning is required.
Firstly, in order to plan the construction, operating and deconstruction of the station, it would help me a great deal if I knew who was attending, when and for how long.
The van / vans need to be loaded on Thursday 24th October in order to be able to leave early the next morning.
The station will be constructed on Friday 25th and work will begin at 1st light, probably about 7:30 to 8am. It is important that this work is completed by approximately 4pm as at that point we will be losing light.
The contest begins at 1am (local time) on Saturday 26th and will have a duration of 48 hours. As usual, we will be entering the “Multi Two” section meaning Multi operator, Two radios. This means we need 2 radios manned for the full 48 hours. The contest finishes at 24:00 on Sunday 27th
The station needs to be dismantled and all equipment stowed on Monday 28th from first light, we are normally completely done by mid afternoon.
