Just built a prototype 6m moxon antenna. Took me about an hour. Cost me six quid for plumbers pipe, the rest was bits I had in the shack. Let you know how it performs when it's on the tower but it's rough tuned on my shed and that's close enough for government work 😀

The FISTS Club, (International Morse Preservation Society) was founded in 1987 by the late George "G...As well as the Museums Activity over the weekend, Colin GM0RLZ, Gordon MM0GPZ and myself were out /P at Lauder Common for the 50MHz Trophy. Great WX and conditions on air were pretty good too, especially on Saturday. Thanks if you worked GM2T. Some pictures of the weekend below.
Was a pretty decent weekend. The WX was a bit difficult for us GM's with at least 26 degrees most of Saturday. It made a pleasant change from rain and gales :-)
