How to sell or buy stuff via CPSARC (update 16/9/13)
Decided to get set up for digimodes, bought an interface cable off eBay which includes a USB port to key the radio and a separate USB sound card.
The whole lot plugs into the ACC socket on the back of my TS 2000.
A bit of head scratching at first as I'd pushed the acc plug in upside down and it wouldn't key or receive anything, plugging it up correctly and the wonderful world of psk31 sprang into life.
Tried a few programs for operating psk31, HRD seems the best featured but I don't like the log, Digipan is fairly basic, N1MM will do it but the setup will take a bit longer as I managed to turn off the waterfall display and can't work out how to turn it back on yet.
The USB sound card is doing my head in already as it has a big bright led which flashes when the card is in use (ie all the time) so that will have to go...
Anyway, off to try to make a few QSOs tonight. ... See MoreSee Less
which cable did you get? I purchased one a while back that was electrically so unsound it was unreal, I also use a ts2kx so can offer help
I tried PSK for about an hour and concluded it was wee bit duller than having a fish tank to look at. I hope you enjoy it though! We all get attracted to different bits of the hobby.
Try jt65 I'm hooked! a QSO takes 6 mins so you can dip in and out but 20w is considered qro you can achieve amazing results. I've got a set up at caravan now And digital is ideal as it doesn't disturb anyone
JT65 ? Is that the new Toyota ?
Here is my interface for inserting and extracting extremely complex audio streams to and from my radio.

Bob Smith GM0BWU - Silent Key
I have just received a message sent to me from Colin GM0CLN to say that his dad passed away this morning (19th April 2017) at Carlingwark House, Castle Douglas.
Bob was a great gentleman and club member who used to attend regular club nights and other club events travelling up from Castle Douglas until age finally caught up with him stopping him from travelling.
As always when these things happen I find on a personal basis difficult to find the words to express how I feel and say.
It goes without saying Bob will be missed by all.
Our deepest sympathies go out to Colin, Susan and Craig and the rest of the family at this time.
Rest in Peace, Bob ... See MoreSee Less
An absolute gentleman and one whom I personally learned a lot about portable station construction from. R.I.P. OM.
Very sad news indeed, Bob was a gent and it was a pleasure sharing my early contest experiences with him. RIP OM ... -.- 😢
I'm sure this is a familiar sight to some of you......
Just to let you know that, if you or any of the guys are thinking of coming along, Dad's Funeral will be at Roucan Loch Crematorium, Dumfries, on Friday 28th April starting at 1pm. We'd love it if you could join us afterwards at Edenbank Hotel, 17 Laurieknowe, Dumfries for tea, sandwiches and cakes
