BILL TURNER MM0BXT -- Now Silent key

Hi All,
It is with great sadness that I pass on the following information about the sudden passing of Bill Turner MM0BXT. See the original email from his daughter below....
Bill was a very quiet man and kept himself to himself and as he says that is how I am. Having said that Bill worked away in the background and one task that he completed was putting all our newsletters from their inception to present day into PDF format, a mammoth task to say the least.
At times like this what do you say as I always find it hard to put my feelings into words.
I have sent a card to Bill’s wife and family offering them our deepest sympathies at this time

Dear Mr Glasgow,
Unfortunately I have some sad news. My father, Bill Turner, who I believe was a member of your radio club, passed away after a very short illness last week. He very much enjoyed his new hobby, it gave him great pleasure.
We were all very surprised when he even decided to attend one or two club events - by nature, he wasn't always very sociable, but he thoroughly enjoyed the companionship of the club members.
I would be very grateful if you could circulate this news if it is appropriate (I don't know how many members Dad kept up with Again, I don't know how relevant this information may be to you or other members, but his funeral will be held on Thursday 15th July at Mortonhall Crematorium.
Thank you in advance for your assistance at this sad time.
Kat Turner
